Elisabeth Akinwale was born in South Minneapolis, in a family that really valued strength and athletics. At the age of 4 she followed her older sister into gymnastics cementing her dedication to sports and fitness early on. This is would be the same passion to drive her to win multiple CrossFit Game Events and her iconic reputation as a world star Athlete and human.

BIOGRAPHY

I am best known as an athlete for my four CrossFit Games appearances and two consecutive North Central Regional crowns.  I’ve won CrossFit Games events such as the 2011, “Killer Kage,” 2012 “Double Banger,” 2013 “Cinco 1,” and 2014 “Clean Speed Ladder.”  I’ve  been fortunate to pursue competition in the sport of Olympic-style weightlifting, accomplishing three USA Weightlifting National qualifications and three American Open Weightlifting Championship appearances.

I’m a member of SEALFIT Kokoro 30, hold a Masters Degree from the University of Chicago, and run a business coaching seminars for Athletes.  My most important and joyful role is that of mother to my wonderful little boy.
